I shoot Christmas and holiday mini session photos at many pre-determined locations in the city of Toronto and the GTA. In fact, I have clients attend my mini sessions from the city of Toronto and across the GTA including Etobicoke, North York, Scarborough, Ajax, Brampton, Markham, Mississauga, Oakville, Pickering, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Newmarket and Thornhill.
Where do you shoot MINI SESSION photos?
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR MINI PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS?
Christmas and holiday-themed mini sessions start at only $250+HST, which includes 15 minutes of shooting time in a luxurious studio and 10 photos of your choice. And, you always have the option to purchase extra photos for $15+HST each.
Not at all, I help you get prepared beforehand to ensure we can make the most out of our short time together and I'll always help suggest appropriate wardrobe options. The purpose of a mini session is to shoot family, and do maternity shoots in a very particular space, so 15 minutes is sufficient just to get the right amount of desired photos.
is 15 minutes too short for a photography session?
Will you come to my home or a location of my choice for a mini session?
Unfortunately, I won't shoot mini sessions at your chosen location. It's simply not worth the overhead costs of traveling, shooting and editing to work with only one client for $250+HST. In fact, I'll only shoot mini sessions, if I can work with a minimum of three families per hour. And, I only host mini sessions a maximum of once per year during the Christmas holiday season.
can you extend the duration of mini sessions?
Unfortunately, I can't do that because studios charge me by the hour and extending these sessions impedes with my ability to shoot photos of other families. And, I no longer offer half sessions, so if you want more time (1 hour or longer), I recommend booking a one hour session, which start at $500+HST and these include more photos of your choice.
how can i get my children to cooperate?
Please make sure all children and babies eat and nap before their photoshoot to ensure they're in the best mood possible. This way you're least likely to have a hungry and cranky child. In addition, I have a few tricks up my sleeve and I'll sometimes incentivize kids with candy (only if the parents permit me to do so).
can I see examples of your work from mini photo shoots?
Of course, the entire gallery on this page includes photos from family, maternity, and couple mini sessions.
Your best bet is to book as soon as I announce the date for my upcoming Christmas and holiday mini sessions. Reservations are confirmed on a first-come-first-serve basis upon when I receive your payment and signed contract.
how far in advance should i book my mini photo shoot reservation?
do i need to pay in full or submit a 50% deposit for my mini photoshoot?
Unlike regular family sessions (which only require a 50% deposit), minis must be paid in full upon booking in order to secure your spot. This is because, whether or not you attend, I still have to pay the studio for my rental time. In addition, you must arrive on-time for mini sessions because I'll have other clients before or after you, as well as, photographers renting the studio space after me and we must be courteous of everyone's time.
