HOW TO SELECT A PHOTOGRAPHER?

When it comes to preparing for a family or newborn photoshoot, there are several key factors that can make all the difference in capturing those picture-perfect moments. One of the most critical steps is to ensure that toddlers are fed in a timely manner before the shoot to prevent any potential crankiness. It's also essential to schedule the session outside of nap hours to optimize their attention and enhance the chances of capturing their best expressions. Additionally, incorporating any toys or comfort items that help them feel at ease in front of the camera can go a long way in ensuring their comfort and cooperation. Choosing neutral colours for the whole family is another great tip to eliminate any clashing tones and ensure that everyone complements each other. With careful planning and preparation, a family or newborn photoshoot can be a joyous and memorable experience that yields beautiful and lasting results. So, whether you're aiming to capture a special moment with your loved ones or a cherished memory with your newborn, these tips can help you achieve the best possible outcome.

How to prepare for a photoshoot?

Is it better to take pictures in a studio or outdoors?

There is no better or worse! Each backdrop offers its own unique set of qualities and different outputs, it would depend on your vision of your photos to determine the best location for your photoshoot. If you like a great foliage during summers or fall, appreciate natural lighting, or want to be clicked during golden hour, you can opt for an outdoor shoot. However, if you’re looking for a particular backdrop that is not offered in an outdoor location, a studio might be the best option as studios often offer backdrops that are also beautiful and pictures are taken in a more controlled setting.
