Last week, I had the pleasure of working in the Nest with @alexkyle_ , @t_jacksonmusic, and their beautiful daughter, Blake….

Well, tomorrow, will be a major day for me; I’m going to complete the most shoots I’ve ever done in a single day. I’m working with 20 amazing clients from 10am to 4:30pm in the Nest at @mintroomstudios. This has always been one of my favorite rooms to rent throughout the year, so I can’t wait to embark upon a photoshoot marathon featuring 20 beautiful families in one of the prettiest spaces. I haven’t posted in five days but it feels as if I published my last post yesterday. The holidays are definitely keeping me on my toes. Work is so exciting but life is also a total blur at the same time. I currently have an editing queue of more than 20 families and 30 photoshoots this upcoming weekend… And, I’m totally ready for it! ♥️

Some Santa mini thoughts… 🎅🏻🎄

My inaugural round of Santa minis was a smashing success.

Tbh, I was initially reluctant to pursue Santa minis because I was worried not enough families would be interested, too many babies would scream, and coordinating more moving parts seemed daunting.

However several of my clients have told me about their Santa nightmares on holiday weekends at a crowded mall - standing in line for an hour, super cranky babies, cookie cutter photos, etc. Therefore I opted to give Santa a go, so families could score Xmas photos with and without Santa - in a beautiful setting without any hassles.

From a business perspective, I was never willing to cut corners on hiring the perfect Santa and I knew I had to charge $$$$. I wanted someone authentic who would match the quality of my work and experience with a jovial personality, high-quality wardrobe, real beard, etc.

Thankfully, I lucked out finding the perfect Santa. He decorated the tree with the kids, ate cookies with them, and engaged with the children in unique ways - that were such a pleasure to photograph.

I’m grateful to say, the families I worked with on November 5th had a wonderful experience with Santa.

Plus, many families have subsequently inquired about booking a Santa mini in 2024, after viewing my stories and seeing him with me @mintroomstudios.

With that said, Santa 2024 minis will take place on November 3rd.
